Our A-Level campus is situated in the lively south coast town of Torquay. Known as the 'English Riviera' , Torquay boasts sandy, palm-fringed beaches and a dynamic atmosphere. It is also famed for being one the sunniest places in the UK. The modern school has excellent facilities with many of the classrooms overlooking the sea . It is just a short walk from the beach and the busy town centre. There is a direct train to London and also an international airport at nearby Exeter, home to a top-ranked university.
EF Brittin prides itself on very small classes and dedicated support for international students. The small, informal tutorial system, together with on-going English language support ensures that students achieve their full potential. Specialised pre-sessional English language courses are also available.
A wide range of A-Level subjects are offered including Business Studies, Economics, Maths, Further Maths, Accountancy, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Languages.
Students live with families that are all within walking distance of school.
Our students also benefit from a wide range of extra -curricular activities including waterskiing and sailing, sports and social events, trips and excursions. With over 300 students on campus from all over the world, there is always lots going on. Students are also encouraged to mix with local English students through clubs and outreach programmes.
We run university fairs on campus and arrange class visits to university open days. Each student's personal tutor gives thorough advice and guidance on university applications.
